Terms of Service
The legal agreement between you and Zinora Tours regarding vehicle usage.
By renting a vehicle from Zinora Tours, you agree to the terms set out below. These terms exist to keep you, our fleet, and other road users safe throughout your journey in Sri Lanka.
1. Use of the Vehicle
The rented vehicle must only be driven by the authorized driver(s) named on the rental agreement. The vehicle must NOT be used:
- For off-road driving, beach driving, or driving through deep water (unless explicitly renting a designated 4x4 vehicle with prior written consent).
- To carry passengers or cargo for a fee.
- To tow any other vehicle or trailer.
- In any illegal activity or in violation of Sri Lankan traffic laws.
2. Traffic Violations & Tolls
The renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, and expressway tolls incurred during the rental period. Zinora Tours will transfer liability for any delayed camera-issued speeding tickets to the renter's provided home address or charge the provided credit card.
3. Mileage Policies
Depending on your selected package, your vehicle will come with either a daily mileage allowance (e.g., 100km per day) or unlimited mileage. For capped mileage packages, excess mileage will be calculated at the end of the trip and charged at a pre-agreed per-kilometer rate.
4. Accidents & Damage
In the event of any accident, damage, or theft, the renter must:
- Notify Zinora Tours immediately via our 24/7 emergency hotline.
- Obtain a police report if a third party is involved or if required by our insurance terms.
- Not admit liability or attempt to settle with third parties without Zinora Tours's consent.
